Where to recycle bedding, curtains and towels

Clean bedding, curtains and towels can go to a textile bank or a charity shop. Some Dunelm stores also take clean home textiles back.

Textile banks

Many textile banks take towels, sheets and curtains as well as clothes.

Dunelm take back

Dunelm runs a textile take back scheme in some of its stores. It takes clean home textiles, including bed linen, towels, curtains and cushion covers, and you can also send items from home.

Charity shops

Charity shops take textiles they can sell.

Worn out textiles still get used

Recycle Now says textiles that cannot be passed on are made into padding for chairs and car seats, cleaning cloths and industrial blankets.
