By using binmap.uk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Binmap is a free information service about public bins, recycling and reuse sites and household collections in the UK.
Binmap is independent. It is not a council and is not endorsed by one. Your council is the authority for its own collections and services.
You may use Binmap for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may link to any page.
The operator owns the written content, the design and the software. The operator also owns the database that Binmap has compiled, checked and arranged. All of these are protected by copyright and database right.
Some of the underlying data is published by others under open licences, listed on the data sources page. Those licences let you reuse that data from its publisher. They do not give a right to take it from Binmap in bulk.
The Binmap name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests a connection that does not exist.
Binmap works to keep information right. But bins are moved, sites change what they accept and councils change their rounds.
Collection dates are passed on from your council as given at the time of the lookup. Check with the council or the site before relying on a date, an opening time or a rule. This matters most for a journey or a booked collection.
The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, correct or always available.
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from relying on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
By adding a business you confirm that you run or work at it and that the details are right. Binmap may edit a listing to fit the site, or decline or remove it, without giving a reason.
Listing is free. Keep your details up to date with the link in your email, or Binmap may take the listing down when it goes out of date.
Binmap links to councils, charities and other operators. Binmap is not responsible for their sites.
