Coffee pod recycling with Podback: drop-off and tips

Podback recycles used plastic and aluminium coffee pods. How you use it depends on where you live: a shop drop-off, a council tip, or your council's kerbside collection.

  • Free bags

Key facts

  • Shop drop-off points need a Podback bag. White bags are for aluminium pods and green bags for plastic pods.
  • Some council tips have Podback containers. You do not need a Podback bag there. Tip the pods in loose.
  • Some councils collect pods with kerbside recycling. Podback sends six months of free bags where they do.
  • Order free bags with a Podback account. Morrisons customer service desks and selected Costa Coffee cafés in Tesco also have them.
  • Check your council's website for tip opening times and whether you need to book.
